NEW YEAR'S EVE IN THE TUNISIAN DESERT  

Day 1, December 30: Djerba > Douz > Tembaine Camp.
 

• Departure from your place of stay in Djerba, direction Douz.
   

• Stop to visit Matmata and the troglodyte houses.
   

• Douz, lunch at the restaurant.
   

• After lunch, departure in 4X4 by the track and the dunes for the Tembaine mountain, and por the southernmost camp in the desert.
   

• Installation under your tent.
   

• Free time in the desert.
   

• Evening, dinner and night in a private tent.

 
Day 2, December 31: Tembaine > Ksar Ghilane > Camp.
 

• Departure by the track for the oasis of Ksar Ghilane.
   

• Lunch in Ksar Ghilane in a restaurant at the foot of the dunes.
   

• Ksar Ghilane, visit of the oasis, possibility of swimming at the 32° hot spring (Optional).
   

• Optional Payable on site: Quad ride, 30 €/h. Camel ride €15/h.
   

• Departure in 4X4, towards the comfortable Saharan camp, by the track (20 km), sunset, ceremony of baking bread in the sand, dinner at the Saharan restaurant and overnight in private tents in the desert.
   

• New Year's Eve, festive dinner.
   

• Overnight in a private tent at the desert camp.

 
Day 3, January 01: Ksar Ghilane  >  Chenini  > Djerba
 

• After breakfast and stroll in the desert.
   

• Departure by the track for Chenini.
   

• Visit of Ksar Ouled Soltane.
   

• Lunch in Guermassa.
   

• Visit of Ksar El Feresh.
   

• Return to Djerba at your place of stay at the end of the afternoon.
