PROGRAM OF THE DAY TRIP AT KSAR GHILANE

Departure at 6:30 a.m. by 4x4 from your place of stay in Gabès towards Matmata.

Visit the troglodyte houses of Matmata.

Then drive to Ksar Ghilane, an oasis surrounded by immense ochre sand dunes (Eastern Erg).

Lunch in a restaurant at the foot of the dunes.

Optionally, there is the possibility of a camel ride for €15/hour or a quad bike ride to the Roman fort of Tisavar for €30/hour.
