TOZEUR NEW YEAR'S EVE IN THE DESERT

3 DAYS TOUR

Day 1, December 30: Tozeur > Douz > Tembaine

Departure is from your place of stay in Tozeur, towards
of Douz.
After a lunch in a local restaurant in Douz, we leave in 4X4
through the track and the dunes to the mountain of Tembaine,
where our camp is located.
Enjoy free time before dinner and spend the night in a private tent in the vastness of the desert.

Day 2, December 31: Tembaine > Ksar Ghilane > Camp

We take the road to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, where a lunch
awaits you in a restaurant located at the foot of the dunes.
Then you can visit the oasis, bathe at the hot spring
at 32° (optional), take a quad ride (30€/h) or a walk
on the back of a camel (15€/h, payable on site).

We then continue our journey in a 4X4 to a comfortable Saharan camp. In the evening, after the sun has set, you will take part in the ceremony of baking bread in the sand, followed by a festive New Year's Eve dinner.
Then you spend the night in a private tent in the desert.

Day 3, January 01: Ksar Ghilane > Matmata > Tozeur 
After a breakfast at the camp and a moment of relaxation
in the desert, we leave for Matmata to visit the troglodyte houses.
Lunch takes place with the locals in Tamezret. 
Finally, we will return to Tozeur via the Chott El Jerid , where you will be dropped off at your place of stay.

2 DAYS TOUR

Day 1, December 31: Tozeur > Douz > Ksar Ghilane

takes place at the inhabitant in Tamezret. Finally, we will return to Tozeur
via the Chott El Jerid , where you will be dropped off at your place of stay.

THE PROGRAM

Open bar aperitif, Tunisian spirits, soft drinks and appetizers around the wood fire
Animations by folk group and camel fantasia
Dinner in the dining room with entertainment:

Kemia, seafood soup, salad platters,
Gargoulette of lamb, Seasonal fruit salad,
Tunisian pastries and mint tea.
Red, rosé or white wines, water, unlimited sodas
At midnight the traditional glass of champagne.
