Here are the details of this excursion:
We will ensure your transfer from Tozeur to Douz in 4X4, starting point of our circuit in the Sahara.

You will be welcomed by our team of experienced camel drivers and your faithful four-legged friends.
You will start your camel trek in the desert, with walking times of 3 to 5 hours per day. Enjoy the vastness of the desert, the changing landscapes and the tranquility that reigns around you.

You can marvel at the sand dunes, admire the sunset over the endless horizon and feel at one with the surrounding nature.
At night, you will live an unforgettable experience in a bivouac in the desert. Make yourself comfortable under the stars and let yourself be lulled by the calm and beauty of the desert.

You will enjoy a delicious meal prepared on site, savoring the local flavors and sharing convivial moments with your group.

This two-day tour is open from October to May, when weather conditions are most favorable to fully enjoy this desert adventure.

Day 1:

  • Pick up at your place of stay in Tozeur.

  • Transfer to Douz to meet our Bedouin guides and their camels.

  • Departure for a camel trek in the desert.

  • After two hours of walking, lunch break prepared by the camel driver.

  • Resume your walk for three hours through the dunes.

  • Settle into the bivouac for the night, dinner and overnight in private tents.


Day 2:

  • Breakfast in the desert.

  • Departure for the return to Douz, three-hour walk.

  • Lunch break with the camel driver.

  • Resume your walk to reach Douz.

  • Transfer back to your place of stay in Tozeur.
