5-DAY CAMEL TREK & HIKING
To the mountain of Tembaine
(quite demanding trek 5/6 hours of walking per day over 5 days)

Day 1: Gabes > Douz
Begin your adventure with a warm welcome in Gabes and a comfortable transfer to Douz.
Enjoy a delicious dinner and rest well at the hotel to prepare for the trip ahead.

Day 2:
After a rich breakfast, embark on a 4x4 transfer through the scenic tracks
to the desert.

The real trek then begins with a camel trek from Douz/Nouïl to Bir Abdallah, at the entrance to the Erg.

After this challenging first step, settle into the camp nestled in the dunes
for an authentic dinner and a night under the stars.

Day 3 - 4:
These days are dedicated to a camel trek through the grandiose Erg Oriental.

Cross majestic dunes, pass by the basin of the gours of Tin Eswan and discover a hot spring which feeds a small lake, a refuge for aquatic birds.

Arrived at the foot of the mountain of Tembaine, the panorama of this summit offers an infinite view on the immensity of the sand dunes.
You can choose to climb this peak in the evening or in the morning
for an unforgettable experience.

Day 5:
After breakfast, get ready for a 4x4 transfer back to Douz/Nouïl.
Enjoy a last meal in the desert before returning to Gabes.
