Your day will begin with a pick-up at your place of stay in Gabes.
You will then be driven to Matmata, where you will have the opportunity to visit an authentic troglodyte house with locals.

You will discover the architectural particularities of these dwellings dug into the rock and learn more about the way of life of the inhabitants.

Next, you will visit the Berber Museum to learn more about the culture and history of the region.

You will have the opportunity to discover fascinating artifacts and admire traditional Berber objects.

After the visit, you will leave for Douz, where you will have lunch in a local restaurant to taste the delights of Tunisian cuisine.

Then, after lunch, you will set off on a camel trek through oases and sand dunes, providing an authentic desert experience. You will also visit the sandy village of Zafraane before dining in a restaurant and spending the night in a comfortable hotel in Douz.

After a hearty breakfast, leave for Tozeur crossing the famous Chott El Jérid, a vast salt lake.

In Tozeur, discover the irrigation system of the palm grove, a feat of engineering that allows the cultivation of palm trees in this desert region.

Continue your exploration with a visit to the Petrified Dunes, unique rock formations dating back millions of years.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then immerse yourself in the history and culture of Tozeur by visiting its museum.

An unmissable stop on your day will be exploring the Star Wars desert setting at Ong Jmal, where you can soak up the magical atmosphere of these famous movies.
