This 4X4 Trip in the Tunisian desert will take you through the immense dunes, to Lake Houidath Erreched via the Tembaine mountain.
Start your adventure in the footsteps of the legendary Paris-Dakar rally with an early morning departure from Djerba towards Douz. After lunch in Douz, we will hit the road for our first stop - a Saharan camp at the foot of the Tembaine mountain. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in comfortable private tents.
After breakfast, prepare to tackle increasingly larger dunes en route to the lake. We will alternate between "bathtubs", types of pebble deserts, and crossing the dunes. Lunch will be taken as a picnic in the desert. In the late afternoon, we will finally reach Lake Houidath Erreched, a breathtaking oasis at the end of the world, surrounded by huge sand dunes. Enjoy a bath in the spring before settling in for the bivouac and preparing for an excellent meal under the stars.
After waking up, we will leave by another route to reach the mountain of Tembaine and the camp. Enjoy a well deserved shower in the camp.
After a last look at the Tembaine mountain, we set off for Djerba, marking the end of our little Paris-Dakar adventure.

Pick-up at 6:30 am from your place of stay in Djerba

Quiet breakfast in the desert.

Departure for the return to Douz.

Transfer to Djerba and drop off at the place of stay at the end of the afternoon.
