QUAD RIDE IN THE TUNISIAN DESERT

OVER 2 DAYS FROM ZARZIS

Are you a fan of motor sports and has the Paris-Dakar Rally touched your adventurous soul? This desert quad tour from Zarzis is just what you need.

We offer you an incredible two-day adventure in the Tunisian desert.
Departure from your hotel in Zarzis early in the morning, pick-up at 6:30 am.
Direction Douz, the gateway to the desert, via the Matmata region.
Photo and coffee breaks will be planned en route to allow you to appreciate the magnificent landscapes of southern Tunisia.
 
Arrival in Douz around 10 am, we will entrust you with the controls of a 500 cc quad.
After a short session to familiarize yourself with your vehicle, we will leave for a quad ride through the desert, towards the Tembaine mountain and the Saharan camp.
An assistance 4X4 will follow us throughout the excursion.
 
The course will alternate between passages of high sand dunes (erg) and pebble desert (reg). We will take a lunch break in the dunes, before continuing our adventure to Tembaine.
 
After this day full of emotions, we will settle down for the night in a comfortable Saharan camp. You will enjoy a traditional dinner followed by a vigil under the stars.
 
The next day, we will leave by quad, taking a different route for the return to Douz. After a lunch in the dunes, we will return the quads to Douz. The 4X4 will be there to take us back to Zarzis.

EXCURSION PROGRAM

Day 1:

  • Departure at 6:30 am from your place of stay in Zarzis towards Douz.

  • Take a coffee break and take the opportunity to take photos on the road.

  • Arrival in Douz around 10 am. Take control of the quads and go on an adventure to the Tembaine mountain.

  • Take a lunch break in the form of a picnic in the middle of the dunes.

  • Arrival at the camp where you will spend a comfortable night in a tent. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp.

Day 2:

  • Start the day with an invigorating breakfast.

  • Take the quads again by taking a different road for the return to Douz.

  • Take a lunch break in the form of a picnic in the dunes.

  • Arrival in Douz, enjoy a coffee break to refresh yourself.

  • Return to Zarzis by 4X4 and end the excursion being dropped off at your place of stay.
